PlayStation 3 Misses Out Yet Again

Written by

One of the cons of being a PlayStation 3 is sometimes you get no love from the smaller independant studios. It's not because they don't love the PlayStation 3, but rather they just don't have the time or resources to port their titles over to the PlayStation 3. One, rather good, game that the PlayStation recently missed out on was Special Forces: Team X; a third person, cover-to-cover, multi-player shooter. And it looks like the PlayStation 3 will also miss out on another promising game, Dark.

Dark is a third-person sealth action role-playing game developed by Realmforge and published by Kalypso Media. You play Eric Bane, a vampire. As you progress through the game you unlock special vampire powers which will allow you to create your own play style.

Though it's not a great loss for the PlayStaion 3 -- with God of War: Acension and The Last of Us just around the corner -- it sure would be nice being able to play some of these stellar looking indie games on my PlayStation 3.

*edit: While several sources state that Dark is in fact coming to the PS3, only the PC and Xbox 360 are listed on Kalypso Media's page as well as the game's official website
